Another Jumps!
I think I said it here first. What makes Lantz’s jump interesting is that he is a one termer - so no pension -and he lobbied hard before he agreed to run last time for the two Ministerial portfolios, causing Chester to sit out of the cabinet for a while. While no doubt a nice guy, he has continually failed to grasp his role as Attorney General firmly, was seemingly pushed around by the RCMP when the Hells came to town and oversaw a shocking run of losing constitutional cases. Not a strong swimmer. It is hoped one of the lawyers who surround Binns will actually step forward and put their money where his or her mouth is and ensure that there is a reasonably skilled candidate for the position of the Province’s top lawyer should the Tories win again.
