The following, from The CBC caught my attention:
P.E.I. is looking for a private firm to build a vegetable oil refinery. It would make canola oil that would eventually be mixed with diesel to create biodiesel fuel.
I have spent 30 years supporting and believing in alternative energy as a worthy investment in our future. ...and yet, sadly, the past years have turned me into a suspicious cynic. All I can think of is another golf course or another Polar.
My reaction is neither fair nor objective - but nevertheless it is there. Damnit, I do not want to think like this. Prove me wrong Mr. Binns. Please.
