The eerie thing about that is that we have our servers in Hamilton as do a lot of municipalities I think. I tried to get Analytics to work when it first came out but was quite frustrated with it. I will have to give it another go. By the way, I will be at work most weeks Monday to Friday.

Yeah, it would be tracking the owners of the IP block - which is to say COK. Noting the GeoMap overlay that is provided in the package, I note one visitor from Australia. That visitor is coming in from SA, but the GeoMap shows NSW. NSW is the head-office of the ISP being used.
As to setting it up, unless the boys are running something unusual, it is merely dropping a snippet of code into the web page.

Still, it does not capture readers by syndication whch for the beer blog is 50% and gx40 is around 75%. I don’t know how to get around that.
