I am still speechless (well, almost) about this. My sources in Albany (who are Republican and screaming for blood), say that Spitzer will never be charged. His Presidential dreams are, however, forever crushed.
So far, the FBI has released little detail about Mr. Spitzer’s alleged communications. In its six-month long investigation of the Emperor’s Club, the agency says in an affidavit that it collected “more than 5,000 telephone calls and text messages” and “more than 6,000 e-mails”, along with bank records, travel records and hotel records. E-mails have also played a role in generating Mr. Spitzer’s growing political troubles as Governor of New York, a post he assumed after his term as a great muckraking state attorney-general.

Good Lord, I have been living here since 1976 and have been aware of sex for sale in our community since that time. Not long ago I overheard an out of town visitor’ order a ‘girl’ from the bartender at a local upscale bar. She arrived in about 10 minutes.
Heck, I even know what demi monde means so I guess I must be sum sophisticated, eh!

Geeze, how else would you get trade shows and that sort of thing to come to PEI?
