My RSS aggregator just started to ping and told me of a news release from CBC. It has been reported that Bruce Rainee will not be covering the Olympics in China due to kidney stones.
Other astonishing news is coming out of Anglo Rustico, where it is reported that Ms Gallant is suffering from a hangnail.
I am not sure how much excitement this old heart can stand.

It must be a generational thing, my RSS aggregator pings every night when I sit with my tea to watch how Compass will re=report everything that was in the mornings Guardian and the afternoons Government press releases and the first thing out of the hosts mouth is “Bruce is away tonight”. Dumb as I can be sometime be I would have eventually figured that one out myself. I’ve concluded that this says something to either the arrogance of the CBC or the mental well being of the audience:)
