I believe I heard that the tourism gaggle had engaged the services of an Internet consultant. Can someone point me in the direction of one of these? Please limit your suggestions to those that have a listing of their credential to claim that title. References to previous employees of our Provincial Government will be politely ignored - as being irrelevant.

C’mon, HB - there are huge advantages to hiring an Internet consultant who is a former bureaucrat. With the right one:
1) You know in advance what you will be told and that it will be what you want to hear
2) He will confirm the wisdom of all past government policy and demonstrate that the market was wrong
3) The proposed solution though expensive, wrong and based on the 1950s computing model, will have the huge advantage of being entirely written to ensure its funding by government (see (2) above)
4) Although his proposal will be built on huge implementation fees for himself, he will include free money for you for your valuable assistance in community engagement
5) When the project fails, reality will be adjusted to claim it was a success; government will believe it to be a success and the process can begin all over again
6) You will get to attend very important meetings at the ATC and feel the pride of helping prove that light cannot escape from a black hole. There is every chance this will help you win the Nobel Prize and an honorary doctorate from UPEI.

I had that Thursday night, Jean, which is why I left out so much about our roster of former bureaucrats offering consultancy services. Goodness, I could have referred to actual case histories and outcomes.

.... and I am having very real difficulties resisting the same Locke..where the hell is the old FRANK mag when we need it. I may yet. If we had a real media here, there would be no need.
